Project Overview: The Tarim 1.2 million tons/year Phase II Ethylene Project of PetroChina Dushanzi
Petrochemical Branch is a leading project in Xinjiang's eight major industrial clusters. This project is
conducive to improving the local resource conversion capacity, promoting the formation of an ethylene
led industrial cluster in Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, radiating downstream industries,
and promoting local economic development. The Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim 1.2 million tons/year
Phase II Ethylene Project is located on the northern edge of the Taklamakan Desert and in the Korla
Shangku Industrial Park.

The project will rely on the rich oil and gas resources in the Tarim Basin to build 11 major production
units, including 1.2 million t/a ethylene, two sets of 450000 t/a full density polyethylene, and 300000
t/a low-density polyethylene. The application rate of self owned technology is more than 99%, and
the localization rate of equipment is more than 98%.

Scope of the contract: Our company has undertaken the design, manufacturing, and on-site technical
services for the following equipment and pipe gallery projects, including: 1.2 million tons/year ethylene
plant, 250000 tons/year aromatics extraction plant, 450000 tons/year full density polyethylene plant,
120000 tons/year butadiene extraction plant, 80000 tons/year MTBE/butene-1 plant, and utility and
auxiliary pipes Corridor, above ground pipeline network of the entire plant, chemical tank area, PSA
unit, 3 # circulating water plant, liquid ammonia tank area, air separation unit, atmospheric pressure
tank area, desalinated water station, power station, etc.
